Amazingly tasty rice and beef filled papers

  1. 6-8 bell peppers
  2. Sauce
  3. 1 large onion chopped
  4. 4 clove garlic chopped
  5. 6-8 tomatoes cut to cubes
  6. 1/2 tsp paprika
  7. 1 tsp black pepper
  8. 1 1/2 tbsp tomato paste
  9. 1 tbsp sugar
  10. 1/2 tbsp oregano
  11. 1/2 tsp salt
  12. 6-7 basil leaves chopped
  13. ground nutmeg
  14. Filling
  15. 1 onion chopped
  16. 4 clove garlic chopped
  17. 500 grams ground beef
  18. 1 chopped mushrooms
  19. 1 cup rice
  20. chopped parsley
  21. nutmeg
  22. 1 1/2 tbsp ground cumin
  23. 1 tsp ground black pepper
  24. salt
  25. 6-7 basil leaves chopped
  26. 3 cup water
  1. Change Sauce: begin by coming the onions until theyre clear Add the garlic and cook for 2 more minutes
  2. Change Add the tomatoes and cook until theyre soft
  3. Change Add the seasoning and mix Cook for another 20 minutes
  4. Change Filling: cook the chopped onion until clear Add the garlic and cook for 2 more minutes
  5. Change Add the ground beef and the chopped mushrooms Mix continuously until the beef changes color to light brown
  6. Change Add the rice and 3 cups of hot water Mix and season to taste Cook for 20-25 minutes until the rice is soft
  7. Change Cut the peppers top (see the picture) and remove the seeds Dont throw the tops away you will need it
  8. Change Fill the peppers with the filing half way through Four two tablespoons from the sauce into the pepper and continue to fill it Notice dont tighten the filing in the pepper it needs to be lose or the rice wont cook properly
  9. Change Close the peppers and place them in a pot Try to put peppers in a way that they cant move inside the pot
  10. Change Pour the rest of the sauce on the peppers It should reach at least half the height of the peppers if not add boiling water with a little seasoning
  11. Change Cook for another hour on low heat Every 15-20 minutes pour some of the sauce inside the peppers
