Pita breads with no yeast


  1. 800 gr flour
  2. 400 ml water
  3. 4 tbsp olive oil
  4. 1 pinch sugar
  5. 1 tsp salt


  1. Change Put all ingredients in a bowl and knead it into a ball The dough has to be soft but not sticky
  2. Change Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest for 30 minutes
  3. Change Divide it in 16 balls Take a ball of dough and roll it out on a floured surface You should make them as thin as possible
  4. Change Place the pita bread in a non-stick pan (with no oil) and let it cook for 1-2 minutes until you see it rise
  5. Change Turn it over and cook it for another minute
