Asian Porkball and applesauce soup

So very good on a cool or chilly night

Ingredients

  1. 2 pounds Asian basic balls
  2. 1 pound whole green beans
  3. 1 large onion
  4. 3 large carrots shredded like noodles
  5. 1 large cucumber
  6. 1-1/3 cup applesauce
  7. 1/4 pound bacon
  8. 1/3 pound pork loin
  9. 1 quart chicken broth
  10. 1 stick butter
  11. to taste salt
  12. 1 teaspoon white pepper powder
  13. 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
  14. 2-1/2 quarts water
  15. 1 colored bell pepper of your choice for garnish
  16. 1/3 cup Chinese black vinegar if you cannot find it use balsamic vinegar

Method

  1. Change Boil the broth and water add butter
  2. Change Chop the meat up into bite sized pieces add to soup with the bacon
  3. Chop the onions add to the soup with the Asian basic balls see recipe simmer 10 minutes covered
  4. Change Add add carrots
  5. Change Add cucumber
  6. Change Mix and add applesauce add Chinese black vinegar
  7. Change Simmer 7 minutes and add green beans
  8. Change Cover let sit on low heat stirring occasionally 15 minutes
