Authentic, Rich and Healthy Vichyssoise

I wanted to make a vichyssoise easily at home. If you want to make it lighter in calories, replace heavy cream with yogurt.
You can also make corn vichyssoise for kids by adding 50 g of creamed corn and 50 ml of milk. Recipe by AyakoOOOOO


  1. 1 medium Potato
  2. 1/2 medium Onion
  3. 100 grams Heavy cream (if you want to make it healthy use yogurt)
  4. 100 ml Milk
  5. 10 grams Consommé soup stock granules
  6. 1 Salt and pepper
  7. 1 (Optional) basil parsley etc
  8. 1 (Optional) bread for making croutons


  1. Change Wash the potato well and wrap with plastic wrap with the skin on Poke several holes with a toothpick
  2. Change Microwave the potato until soft (It depends on the size but 3~4 minutes at 600 W is an estimate)
  3. Change Peel the potato Be careful not to burn yourself Add the potato to a food processor and mash roughly with a fork
  4. Change Chop finely or slice the onion and place on a microwave safe plate Cover with plastic wrap and microwave until translucent (about 3~4 minutes at 600 W)
  5. Change Add all the ingredients in the food processor and puree until smooth adjusting the seasoning to your liking

  7. Change Sprinkle basil parsley and other herbs
  8. Change Top with croutons like this
  9. Change This is the version with Asian sweet potato
