Avocado Hummus

Seriously, this hummus is addictive! Doubling next time because the bowl was cleaned dry!!(Pinterest)


  1. 15 oz can of chick peas drained
  2. 2 avocados peeled and pitted
  3. 3 tbsp olive oil extra virgin plus 1 tbsp for topping
  4. 1 tsp sesame oil
  5. 4 tbsp fresh lime juice
  6. 2 -3 tbsp fresh cilantro
  7. 1 tsp chopped garlic
  8. 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  9. 1 salt and pepper to taste
  10. 1 red pepper flakes for topping
  11. 1 pita bread pita chips tortillas pretzels or assorted veggies for dipping


  1. Place all ingredients except olive oil and red pepper flakes for topping in a food processor and cream all ingredients until really smooth
  2. Drizzle reserved 1 tbsp olive and sprinkle with red pepper flakes
