Banana & Dry fruits Cake

#healthyjunior – Here is a healthy and a delicious homemade loaf cake having the goodness of both bananas and some dry fruits. This combination is very good and has the flavour of the bananas and the crunch coming from the crushed dry fruits. You can use up any over-ripe bananas in this recipe. Treat your kids to this yummy cake as an after school snack or pack it for their lunch box meal. You can also serve it with their favourite ice cream as topping or some homemade rabri drizzled over it.


  1. 2 cups maida (refined flour)
  2. 1 /12 tsp baking powder
  3. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  4. 1/2 tsp salt
  5. 2 ripe bananas mashed
  6. 3/4 cup brown sugar
  7. 1/2 cup yoghurt
  8. 2 eggs beaten
  9. 1 tsp vanilla essence
  10. 1/2 cup mixed dry fruits crushed


  1. Change Sift the flour baking powder baking soda amp salt
  2. Change To the mashed banana add the brown sugar yoghurt
  3. Change eggs vanilla essence and crushed dry fruits Combine well
  4. Change Add in the flour
  5. Change Gently fold in Do not over mix
  6. Change Pour the batter into a greased loaf tin
  7. Change Bake in a preheated microwave oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes
  8. Change Let it cool in the loaf tin for 30 minutes Pierce a knife to check if it is done
  9. Change If it comes out clean it means it is baked perfect
  10. Change Flip it over and allow it to cool further
  11. Change Slice into desired thickness and let them enjoy as they would like
