Beef Stroganoff

  1. 1 1/2 lb boneless sirloin steak cut into 1-inch strips
  2. 3 1/2 tbsp flour
  3. 1/4 cup butter
  4. 1 cup onion chopped
  5. 1 can (10 1/2 oz) condensed beef bouillon
  6. 1 tbsp Worcestershire
  7. 1 tsp salt
  8. 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  9. 2 tbsp tomato paste
  10. 1 cup sour cream
  11. 1 pints chopped mushrooms
  12. 1 lb egg noodles
  1. Dredge steak strips with flour reserve remaining flour
  2. Brown strips in melted butter in 12-inch skillet
  3. Add onion and cook 3-4 minutes
  4. Remove meat and onion from skillet
  5. Blend reserved flour into pan drippings in skillet
  6. Cook over medium heat 1 minute stirring constantly
  7. Stir in beef bouillon and worcestershire
  8. Stirring constantly cook until thickened
  9. Stir in salt mustard tomato paste
  10. Blend in sour cream
  11. Add mushrooms cook for about 5-10 minutes until the mushrooms soften
  12. Add meat
  13. Cool quickly
  14. Serve over rice or noodles
