Beef Stroganoff

A savory beef dish served with rice or noodles

  1. 1 5 pounds beef
  2. 1 onion
  3. 4 cloves garlic
  4. 1 5 tbsp flour more to powder the beef
  5. 1 5 cups half amp half cream
  6. 2 cups instant rice
  7. 0 5 tsp paprika
  8. 0 2 tsp nutmeg
  9. 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  10. 2 5 cups water
  1. Slice the beef into thin stripes
  2. Add a significant amount of salt and pepper
  3. Coat the beef stripes with flour
  4. Fry the stripes until theyre golden then take off heat
  5. Finely chop the onion and saute it until slightly caramelized then add the minced garlic Stir
  6. Add tomato sauce flour paprika and nutmeg Stir until even
  7. Add beef slices to the mix then gradually add water while stirring to avoid clumping the flour
  8. Raise heat until it starts to boil then turn heat down cover and let it simmer for 20 minutes
  9. Add the cream and let it boil for 2 minutes
  10. Start preparing rice 13 minutes after adding water Boil 2 cups of water and add 2 cups of rice Turn off heat and cover for 5 minutes
