braised beef short ribs

  1. 4 lb beef short ribs
  2. 1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil
  3. 25 oz Mushroom pasta sauce
  4. 1 tsp Crushed garlic
  5. 2 cup Beef broth
  6. 1/2 cup red wine
  7. 1/2 Yellow onion
  8. 1/2 cup Celery
  9. 1/2 cup carrots
  10. 1 kosher salt
  11. 1 ground pepper
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F fahrenheit
  2. Place the olive oil in a pan over medium high heat season the short ribs with salt and pepper and brown all sides
  3. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and cook for 3 to 4 hours until the meat is tender and falling off the bone
