Bread Crumbs

There s really no reason to buy bread crumbs.


  1. 4 cup Stale bread chunks
  2. 1/2 cup Olive oil
  3. 1 as needed Salt and pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Change Place bread in a blender and pulse to crumb size
  3. In a mixing bowl toss crumb with olive oil to coat Season with salt and pepper
  4. Change Line a baking sheet with parchment and spread the seasoned bread crumbs in an even layer over the sheet
  5. Bake for 10 minutes Stir crumb and spread out again Bake for an additional 10 minutes Continue at 5 minute intervals until your bread crumbs reach a desired degree of crispness
  6. While the bread crumbs are still hot spread them out on paper towels to drain These will store for a long time Use them to top pastas or gratin dishes for added texture
