Butterfly garlic butter prawns

  1. 4 slice bread
  2. 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  3. 1 tsp garlic diced
  4. 1/2 tsp salt
  5. 1/4 tsp black pepper
  6. 4 prawns peeled and deveined
  7. 1 tbsp chives


  1. Preheat grill on medium
  2. Using a 75cm butterfly cutter cut 4 butterflies from bread
  3. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat Add garlic and stir through until pale gold
  4. Add salt and pepper to pan and stir until for 30 seconds Add prawns and cook for two minutes
  5. Grill butterfly bread until golden on both sides
  6. Place bread on serving plate Place one prawn on each piece of bread and top with chives Serve
