My daughter loves Caramel apples and bread pudding. This recipe is for her!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Cinnamon or unsweetened applesauce
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup egg substitute
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 5 cup cinnamon raisin bread torn in small pieces
- 3/4 cup granny smith apple peeled and diced small
- 1 Whipped cream and caramel topping for topping
Method
- Preheat oven to 350
- In a sprayed 9×13 pan place bread pieces evenly
- Combine first six ingredients well and pour over bread in pan
- Evenly sprinkle apple over all and press down to wet all ingredients
- Bake 40-50 min or until knife in center comes out clean
- Serve warm with caramel drizzle and whipped cream
