Caramel Apple Bread Pudding

I love bread pudding and anything with Apples! So I thought this would be good to try!

Ingredients

  1. 5 cup day old bread cubed
  2. 1 cup applesauce
  3. 1 cup milk
  4. 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  5. 1/2 cup egg substitute
  6. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  7. 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  8. 1/2 cup chopped peeled apple
  9. 1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping
  10. whipped topping

Method

  1. In a large bowl combine the applesauce egg substitute milk brown sugar vanilla and cinnamon Fold in bread cubes and apple Let stand 15 min or until bread is softened
  2. Pour into an 8 square baking dish coated with cooking spray Bake uncovered @325° for 35-40 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean Drizzle with caramel and top with whipped topping Best if served warm
