Cheese burger soup

A lady from my church served this soup. I just made it easier to fix. It is all fixed in one stock pot.


  1. 1/2 lb Lean hamburger
  2. 1/2 cup Diced onions
  3. 1/4 cup Diced celery
  4. 1/4 tsp Basil leaves
  5. 1 Seasoned salt
  6. 1 Pepper
  7. 2 cup Dice boiled potatoes
  8. 32 oz Any broth
  9. 2 cup Milk
  10. 8 oz Velveeta cheese


  1. In large stock pot combined hamburger onion celery basil seasonings
  2. When hamburger is browned and vegetables are tender add flour do not drain fat This will be kind of pasty
  3. Add soup broth milk and potatoes To make it easy I used potatoes already cooked in a can and dice them ( I have also use Gnocchi which is a potato dumpling)
  4. Once its hot then add cheese until melted
