A through back meal to when this was a treat in back then
Ingredients
- 1/2 chicken
- 1 egg
- 10 potatoes whole
- Bread crumbs
- Lettuce
- 1 cucumber
- Black pepper
- Flour
- Deep frying oil
Method
- Coat the chunks of chicken with bread crumbs by first smearing with flour then in eggs and finally the bread crumbs
- Place the chicken pieces ina deep fryer and let cook at 190°c for 8-15 minutes turning to cook well on all sides Cooking time depends on the tenderness of the chicken
- Place the peeled potatoes on an oven plate and coat with margarinepepper and salt Let bake for 15 minutes turning every 5 minutes
- Plate with lettuce and cucumber and enjoy a healthy culinary work out Take a healthy walk afterwards to shed calories
