Chocolate bread pudding

Valentine s Day dessert

Ingredients

  1. 1 loaf honey wheat bread
  2. 1 cup Chocolate syrup
  3. 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  4. 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  5. 1/2 cup milk
  6. 1/3 piece margarine
  7. 4 eggs
  8. 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method

  1. Spray casserole dish with butter getting all sides
  2. Cut bread into cube pieces and then add to casserole dish also add the chocolate chips
  3. Whisk together nutmeg cinnamon milk eggs and chocolate syrup until it makes a custard
  4. Pour the custard over the bread and chocolate chips press down with a fork making sure all bread pieces are covered in chocolate
  5. Let stand for 10 mins then press down again not as much
  6. Bake in oven for 25 mins on 350°F
  7. Serve with whipped cream or by itselfDone
