Copy of Diced Steak Made with Ground Beef

In addition to the original ingredients, I added a few other ingredients to turn this recipe into a quick stir fry for a lettuce wrap. Then garnished with shredded radishes. Very tasty and satisfying. Thanks for the recipe 😊

  1. 500 grams Ground beef (or a pork and beef blend)
  2. 1/4 tbsp Salt
  3. 1/4 tbsp Pepper
  4. 1 tbsp Katakuriko
  5. 1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
  6. 2 tbsp brown sugar
  7. 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
  8. 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  9. 2 tbsp water
  10. 1/4 tbsp minced garlic
  1. Change Mix the first three ingredients in a bowl including the garlic Then flatten the meat into one square like in the picture Cut into 2-3 cm squares
  2. Change Cook on the griddle with your favourite sauce such as a Yakiniku Japanese BBQ sauce (not listed) From a separate bowl this is where I whisk the soy sauce sugar cornstarch and water together Then slowly add the mixture to the meat a tbsp at a time and stirring in between mix
  3. Change Cook each side of the meat turning with a spatula so it doesnt burn I also added shredded carrots (optional and not listed) Its done when the sauce has mixed in
  4. You can also make this in a frying pan and serve it with grated daikon radish and ponzu sauce It is delicious
  5. Change I finished this delicious recipe on a lettuce wrap and garnish with shredded radishes
