Corn Bread


  1. 1 large egg
  2. 1 Non stick cooking spray
  3. 1 1/3 cup Milk
  4. 1/4 cup Pure Vegetable Oil
  5. 2 cup Self rising enriched white corn meal mix
  6. 1 tbsp Sugar


  1. Preheat oven to 450°F
  2. Coat a 9 inch oven proof skillet or an 8 x8 inch baking pan with non stick spray
  3. Place skillet in oven for 8-10 minutes or until hot
  4. In a medium mixing bowl beat an egg Stir in milk oil sugar and cornmeal Mix until smooth Batter should be creamy and pourable If not add 1-2 tablespoons of milk
  5. Pour mixture into skillet or pan
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown
