Delicious and Quick Hamburger Soup

I love soup on a cold day, and I wanted to make something hearty and quick. My toddlers even love this soup. It s fragrant, beefy, and versatile. Enjoy!


  1. 2 lb hamburger
  2. 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  3. 1 small onion
  4. 3 clove garlic
  5. 1 packages sliced mini portabellas
  6. 1 potato (diced small)
  7. 4 stick celery (sliced thin)
  8. 6 cup beef broth
  9. 1 packages frozen mixed vegetables
  10. 1 Italian seasoning
  11. 1 sea salt
  12. 1 cracked black pepper
  13. 1 sage
  14. 1 Cajun seasoning
  15. 1 garlic powder
  16. 1 grated Parmesan (for garnish)


  1. Heat olive oil in a soup pot then sautee garlic onions mushrooms potatoes and celery until onion is translucent and mixture is fragrant
  2. Add hamburger and cook through until brown
  3. Add some garlic powder Italian seasoning sage Cajun seasoning salt and pepper to meat to help infuse flavors while hamburger browns
  4. When meat is browned drain as much grease as possible
  5. Add beef broth (add more or less depending on thickness of soup preference)
  6. Once soup gets hot add frozen vegetables and more of each spice until you reach preferred flavor
  7. Cook until vegetables reach preferred consistency
  8. Serve hot with grated Parmesan on top for garnish
