Egg Drop Soup, with a South Western Twist..

Yes, Sometimes I watch to much Beat Bobby Flay … Lots of recipes of this sort have the addition of corn starch to thicken it up. You can do this if you like I just didn t think of it this time around. Typically for this size serving you could go with about 1/2 Tbsp of starch premixed with water and then slowly drizzle that in while the soup is boiling.

  1. 1 egg
  2. 1/4 cup water for the egg
  3. 4 ups of chicken stock boiling
  4. 1/4 cabbage
  5. Some ground red chili powder if desired
  6. to taste salt
  7. 1/2 grilled lime

  1. Change Dice up the cabbage
  2. Change So bring your boiling stock to a full rolling boil and add in your chopped cabbage Let this cook while you mix up your egg
  3. Change Beat the egg with the 1/4 cup water until smooth and the looks the same all around
  4. Now slowly drizzle your egg into the rollingboil chicken stock and cabbage Youll want to stir as you go You DONT wnat scrambled eggs in there so slow is the key
