Eggy in a basket

Easy and great.


  1. 2 Eggs
  2. 2 Bread slices
  3. 3 Strips of Bacon
  4. 1 Salt and pepper
  5. 1 small amount of butter


  1. Cook bacon in a skillet however you like (crispy fatty whatever)
  2. While bacon is cooking using a circular punch out (the caps of spices are what I use) punch circles in the bread and set the bread aside
  3. Drain most of the drippings set bacon aside and use this as a base for your eggs and bread
  4. With medium-high heat add butter to the skillet and have it evenly distributed then take the bread slices and coat both sides with the melting butter
  5. Crack the egg over the hole in the bread (while its cooking on the skillet) salt/pepper the side you can then flip in about a minute or until golden brown
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the next egg Plate and enjoy 🙂
