Fried Bread With a Twist

I wanted a small snack so I made this.


  1. Onion
  2. 1 small red onion thinly sliced
  3. 1 tbsp salted butter
  4. 1 tsp ground nut oil (plus 4 more tablespoons for frying bread)
  5. lawry #39 s seasoned salt
  6. Making
  7. 4 slices of white bread
  8. 1 tbsp of your favourite cheese (per slice)


  1. Change In a pan heat the butter and oil
  2. Change Add the onions and salt and fry for 2-4 minutes until the onion has softened
  3. Once fried set to one side until ready to use
  4. Change Cut the crusts of the bread then using a rolling pin flatten the sliced bread as much as you can
  5. Change Using the fat from the onions brush the bread slices
  6. Change Using your favourite cheese add to bread
  7. Change Then add the onions on tip of cheese
  8. Change Roll it carefully so it doesnt break Use toothpicks to hold it all together Then on the outside brush the oil from the onion
  9. Add 4 tablespoons of oil to a frying pan and heat
  10. Change Add the bread in and fry for about 3-5 minutes on low heat or until it is golden brown Turn a few times
  11. Once done remove from pan and place on kitchen roll to absorb some of the fat
  12. Serve immediately
