Home Made Corn Bread

This is by far the best corn bread recipe I have found that isn t dry, crumbly, and has a fantastic taste. Love It!!!!!!


  1. 1 cup flour
  2. 3/4 cup corn meal
  3. 4 tbsp sugar
  4. 3 tsp baking powder
  5. 1/2 tsp salt
  6. 1 egg
  7. 1 cup milk
  8. 3 tbsp butter melted


  1. Oven at 375°F
  2. Mix flour cornmeal sugar baking powder and salt in med bowl
  3. Mix egg and milk together in small bowl mix well Add to dry ingredients
  4. Melt butter and add to mixture Mix well again
  5. Pour into well greased pan (I put 1 tsp oil into 10 cast iron skillet and preheat in oven)
  6. Bake at 375°F for about 30 minutes or till edges brown and pull away from sides and knife comes out clean
