Indonesian Chicken Soup

A simple traditional chicken soup to warm you up during the cold rainy days.


  1. 6 pcs chicken thighs
  2. 2 pcs carrots chopped
  3. 1 pc potato chopped
  4. 100 gr pole beans chopped
  5. 1 handful celery leaves
  6. 1 pc onion leeks chopped
  7. 1 5 L water
  8. 6 pcs shallots chopped
  9. 3 pcs garlics chopped
  10. 1 tbsp non-MSG chicken stock powder
  11. 1 tsp salt
  12. Vegetable oil


  1. Bring chicken water and 1 tsp salt to a boil in a large stockpot Skim foam
  2. In a fry pan pre-heat vegetable oil and saute chopped shallots and garlics for a minute
  3. Add sauteed shallots and garlics to the stockpot Season with salt and chicken powder broth Reduce the heat Simmer for 15 minutes
