Meatball Sub

I just made it up 😁

Ingredients

  1. 1 lb NY strip or boneless steak ground by butcher
  2. 4 clove Garlic- crushed
  3. 1 each Shallot – minced
  4. 1 each Egg
  5. 3 slice Italian bread soaked in milk
  6. 1 cup Parmesan cheese -shredded
  7. 1 cup Ricotta
  8. 1 bunch Basil leaves chopped
  9. 1 Salt and pepper
  10. marinara
  11. 28 oz Canned whole tomatoes
  12. 1 each Shallot – minced
  13. 3 clove Garlic crushed
  14. 1 bunch Basil leaves chopped
  15. 1 Fresh oregano
  16. 1 Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Set oven for 375°F Put together all ingredients for meatballs Mix by hand until fully incorporated in large bowl Makes small balls Place them on cookie sheet with wiped olive oil Bake for 25 minutes
  2. In a large pot Sauté garlic and shallot in olive oil Crush can of tomatoes and add Add salt and pepper Let cook for 10 minutes Add basil and oregano
  3. Carefully add meatballs into sauce Dress hoagie roll with sauce and meat balls Cheese if you like Bon Apetit!!
