My style Shrimp Dynamite



  1. Main
  2. 1 cabbage shredded or peeled into cups
  3. 1/2 pot of oil to fry shrimp
  4. 500 grams shrimps frozen clean devained ( medium to large )
  5. Shrimp coating
  6. 1 cup all purpose flour
  7. 1/2 cup corn starch
  8. 1/4 cup bread crumbs of your choice
  9. 1 pinch salt and pepper
  10. 1/2 cup milk added to eggs
  11. 2 eggs beaten
  12. Sauce
  13. 1 cup mayonaise
  14. 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  15. 1 tsp wasabi or alternative
  16. 1/2 tsp oyster /soy sauce or alternative
  17. 1/4 tsp mustard
  18. 1/4 tsp sugar
  19. 1 dash salt and pepper
  20. 1/2 cup water
  21. 2 tsp sriracha sauce or alternative
  22. 1/2 tsp rice vinegar or alternative
  23. side dish
  24. 1 1/2 cup brown basmati rice steamed or boiled
  25. 1 cup vegetables of your choice


  1. make sure the shrimps have thawed in water and defrosted Clean if necessary
  2. put the vegetables and rice to boil
  3. in 2 separate bowls mix first the dry ingredients and the eggs in another bowl Add a half cup milk to the egg wash
  4. place the shrimp in the dry ingredients make sure all are covered and leave them there
  5. in a medium sized bowl mix the sauce ingredients Taste to make sure its sweet and not missing anything
  6. heat up a pot with oil filled half way on low to medium heat MAKE SURE ITS NOT TOO HOT AS THE SHRIMP WILL BURN
  7. take the shrimp from the dry ingredients and put in your egg wash drench remove and place back in the dry coating
  8. test to see if your oil has heated up take a piece of coating from the shrimp drop it in If it immediately floats to the top its ready if not then wait a few more seconds
  9. fry the shrimps for 3 minutes on either side or until golden brown on both sides
  10. remove and place on kitchen towel to drain the excess oil
  11. place your sauce in a small pot and put on the stove Should not need more the 1 minute Heat the sauce and bring to light boil sauce will change to a caramelised colour
  12. remove from stove Add the shrimp to coat in the sauce
  13. serve shrimp on a bed of cabbage or shredded along with the rice and vegetables
