Potato Bread Stuffing

My fiance loves stuffing and I make this all the time for him.


  1. 16 oz loaf plain potato bread
  2. 4 cup no sodium chicken stock (I used homemade)
  3. 1 cup cooked small diced/shredded chicken amp /or parts
  4. 2 tsp celery salt
  5. 3 tsp poultry seasoning
  6. 2 tbsp dried parsely
  7. 1/4 tsp pepper
  8. 1 salt to taste
  9. 1 1/2 large onions (small diced)
  10. 3 stick celery small diced
  11. 8 tbsp butter


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Change Cube bread into bite sized pieces Lay pieces out in a single layer on a parchment lined cookie/baking sheet
  3. Change Bake cubes for 10-15 min Toss cubes around and bake for an additional 10-15 min or until crunchy Set aside
  4. Increase oven temp to 375°F
  5. In a medium sauce pan melt butter
  6. Add onion and celery and cook until tender About 5-10 min Stirring frequently and watch well so butter doesnt burn
  7. Change Once veggies are tender add chicken broth/stock and seasonings Wisk well
  8. Spray a 9×13 deep baking dish with nonstick spray
  9. Change Place bread cubes in baking dish
  10. Change Spoon stock mix over bread cubes making sure u distribute evenly getting a little broth on all top cubes of bread
  11. Change Cover with foil and bake 15-20 minutes or until heated through
  12. Change Serve and enjoy!
  13. Hints n tips! 🙂
  14. For a sage flavor add 1tsp Sage
  15. You can use vegetable stock insteak of chicken
  16. If u want meatless replace chicken with fine shredded carrot and cook with the onion
