Rosemary & Honey Soda Bread *GG*

Wonderful, very easy ๐Ÿ™‚


  1. 200 grams wholemeal flour
  2. 275 grams plain flour
  3. 300 ml buttermilk
  4. 2 sprigs of rosemary
  5. 1 tsp baking soda
  6. 1 pinch salt
  7. 6 tbsp honey


  1. Preheat the over to 200c/gas mark7
  2. Remove the rosemary from the stalks
  3. Mix the rosemary with the wholemeal flour sieved plain flour baking soda amp salt
  4. Add the buttermilk amp honey then stir to mixture until all the flour is mixed in
  5. On a floured surface knead until smooth shape amp add a few cuts through the top
  6. Place on a lightly floured baking tray and into the oven for 40 mins
  7. The bread is ready when it sounds hollow when you tap the top When ready take out and leave to cool
