Simple Beef Stew

A simplified version as this recipe doesn t require you to make the roux.

  1. 500 g stew beef (cubed)
  2. 250 g soup beef
  3. 1 handful baby carrots (cut)
  4. 1 tbs butter
  5. 1 yellow onion (minced)
  6. 1 tbs Cornflour (mix with 2 tbs water)
  7. 3 tbs blackpepper corn (crushed)
  8. Splash Worcestershire sauce
  9. 1 tsp dried parsley
  10. 1 potato (cubed)
  1. Boil soup beef to make broth Take out the beef and keep the beef stock
  2. Add butter and olive oil into another pot and caramelize the stew beef discard and then caramelize the onion in the same pot Add in garlic
  3. Add potatoes carrots and the cooked stew beef Salt and pepper it Use both black and white pepper
  4. Add in the beef stock add Worcestershire sauce parsley salt and pepper as needed
  5. Thickens the stew with cornstarch
  6. Remove stew from pot and keep in a slow cooker so that you can enjoy it warm anytime
