Making this recipe will be shy of that limit, but it s makes up a significant portion. Keep in mind your red meat consumption throughout the week and also opt for more fish based meals if you give a shit about your health. Eye of round beef: calories/454 grams

  1. 1 pound eye of round beef
  2. 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  3. 1/8 cup Worcestershire sauce
  4. 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
  5. 1/8 cup soy sauce
  6. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  7. 1 teaspoon onion powder
  8. 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  1. Place 1 pound eye of round beef in the freezer for 1 hour This will harden the meat to make it easier to slice
  2. In a large bowl mix together 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce 1/8 cup soy sauce 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper 1 teaspoon garlic powder and 1 teaspoon onion powder
  3. When the beef is slightly frozen cut it into 1/8 thick strips against the grain
  4. Mix the strips of beef in the marinade
  5. Refrigerate beef for 8 hours
  6. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit
  7. Arrange strips on a baking rack
  8. Cook for 2 hours This beef jerky will be fresh for 3 weeks at room temperature up to 4 months in the refrigerator and up to 8 months in the freezer
