I simmered beef in red wine briefly to make a delicious drinking appetizer. It has a sweet and salty flavor, so it s great in bentos too. For 2 servings. Recipe by kurukurumin
- 160 grams Thinly sliced beef
- 1 piece Ginger
- 100 ml Red wine
- 20 grams Brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 dash (to taste) Black pepper
- 5 green beans Accompaniments
- Change Put the red wine brown sugar and soy sauce in a pan and bring to a boil
- Change Thinly slice a piece of ginger Add the ginger and the beef to the pan and simmer over high heat for about 30 seconds
- Change Take the beef out of the pan
- Change Simmer the sauce to reduce it
- Change Return the beef to the pan and simmer until theres just a little sauce left in the pan
- Change Transfer to serving plates and garnish with something green (Sprinkle on some black pepper to taste)
