Wine Simmered Beef with Ginger and Brown Sugar

I simmered beef in red wine briefly to make a delicious drinking appetizer. It has a sweet and salty flavor, so it s great in bentos too. For 2 servings. Recipe by kurukurumin

  1. 160 grams Thinly sliced beef
  2. 1 piece Ginger
  3. 100 ml Red wine
  4. 20 grams Brown sugar
  5. 1 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
  6. 1 dash (to taste) Black pepper
  7. 5 green beans Accompaniments
  1. Change Put the red wine brown sugar and soy sauce in a pan and bring to a boil
  2. Change Thinly slice a piece of ginger Add the ginger and the beef to the pan and simmer over high heat for about 30 seconds
  3. Change Take the beef out of the pan
  4. Change Simmer the sauce to reduce it
  5. Change Return the beef to the pan and simmer until theres just a little sauce left in the pan
  6. Change Transfer to serving plates and garnish with something green (Sprinkle on some black pepper to taste)
